The ceiling recessed design features a door that automatically opens and closes when raising or lowering the screen. The door opens by gravity and when the screen is raised two ends of the screen surface grab hooks which then close the doors behind it.
The motor comes with a thermal overload cutout system to prevent burnouts. In addition, there are adjustable limit switches to automatically stop the picture surface in the "down" position. It comes with a Decora three position wall switch.
