The VAIO F VPCF117FX/B Notebook Computer from Sony is a large-screen notebook computer, designed with multimedia performance in mind. It features a 16.4" display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and resolution that is equal to that of 1080p video. Dedicated nVIDIA GeForce 330M graphics with 1GB memory power the display. The integrated Blu-ray drive is capable of playing back the latest HD blockbusters from Hollywood.

The VAIO F features a full-size backlit keyboard, allowing you to see what you're typing in the dark. Its dedicated numeric keypad will come in quite handy when working in spreadsheet applications. Sony's dedicated AV Controls allow you to control many of the laptop's multimedia features with ease. You'll be able to control the mouse cursor using the electro-static touchpad, which features Multi-Finger input support for enhanced control functionality.

The computer is powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM, which can be overclocked to 2.8GHz using Intel Turbo Boost Technology. It is loaded with 6GB of RAM, a 500GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
