The XGA-resolution VPL-EX130 3LCD Portable Projector is a powerful, versatile projector that's outfitted with a short-throw lens. A short throw lens, simply put, can project a larger picture at a shorter distance from the screen than a conventional lens can. They're ideal for smaller conference rooms, classrooms and living rooms. For example, the VPL-EX130 can project an 80 inch image from less than 95 inches away.
But it's got large room projection power. Its 3LCD projection panels with Sony's BrightEra improvements for the VPL-EX130 and its 210 watt bulb get the credit for the projector's vivid and sharp 3000 lumen image at a 700:1 contrast ratio.
The VPL-EX130 packs a lot of features into a package that weighs less than seven pounds. It can display 720p and 1080i high definition images and its international capabilities include being able to project NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, PAL-60 and SECAM signals. It also has a world-ready 100 to 240 volt AC 50/60 Hz power supply. And it offers your choice 19 languages for its onscreen display (OSD).
With the VPL-EX130 you can include your entire audience. Closed captioning enables your hard of hearing audience members to follow along when you're projecting from sources that provide it. It also comes in handy when presenting to people learning English as a second language and whenever you're projecting in a noisy environment.
- Lamp Cutoff: Lamp cuts off if no signal is input for 10 minutes and lights again when a signal is input or any key is pressed.
- Standby: The projector goes into standby mode if no signal is input for 10 minutes and power consumption reduced to less than 3W.
