Samsung TL240 Overview

The Samsung TL240 Digital Camera combines advanced imaging technologies to provide DSLR quality photos and video in a compact, easy to use package. Built on a high-resolution 14 megapixel image sensor, the camera renders all of your subjects with life-like color and fine detail. The high powered 7x optical zoom lens provides a true 31mm wide angle of view. The 3.5" WVGA Touchscreen display not only helps you compose your photos, it allows you to organize and view your images.

The Smart Auto 2.0 feature makes the camera easy to use, but the camera also has advanced manual shutter speed and aperture controls. Combined with Samsung Dual Image Stabilization technology, the camera produces quality images. Full 1280 x 720p at 30fps HD Video produces brilliant, flicker-free video of family memories and other events.

14 Megapixel Resolution
With its brilliant 14 megapixel image sensor, the TL240 renders the highest levels of detail and quality available. From 4 x 6" prints to over-size posters, the camera packs SLR quality resolution into a stylish and compact body.
3.5" WVGA Full Touch Screen
The TL240 puts simple navigation at the tip of your finger. The rear LCD screen allows you to scroll quickly through all menus, and easily access your photo library. The Haptic vibration response registers your choices. Quickly access and use the camera's key features with either a simple finger tap or hand gesture, using the revolutionary new Gesture UI.
7x Optical Zoom Lens
The 7x optical zoom lens has a 31-217mm (35mm film Equivalent) range. This allows you to take photos of large subjects in a tight spot, or get up close and personal even if your subject is in the distance.
Smart Auto 2.0
Take professional-looking photos with the Smart Auto feature. Smart Auto analyzes key elements of your composition such as color, brightness, motion and subject, then automatically adjusts to take the perfect shot. Smart Auto has 16 different preset modes, for a variety of photo op settings. These modes can be bypassed for manual control.
Dual Image Stabilization
The Advanced Dual Image Stabilization (IS) feature allows you to capture crystal-clear, blur-free shots without using a flash or tripod. The CL80's Advanced Dual IS combines both optical and digital image stabilization to produce sharp images without the noise commonly found in other cameras. The optical IS compensates for hand trembling by shifting the lens in the opposite direction. When using optical IS isn't quite enough, the digital IS automatically takes over to ensure blur-free images.
HD Movies
Record movies in the palm of your hand. The CL80 is like having a compact HD video camera that also takes professional-grade photos. You can record HD video in 1280 x 720p resolution at 30fps. The H.264 format also allows you to record twice as much video as an MP4 and four times more video than an MJPEG, with much higher video and sound quality.
