The Porta Brace AR-788CL8 Audio Recorder Case (Signature Blue) is designed to carry a Sound Devices 788T 8-channel portable HD recorder and CL-8 mixing control surface. There is an adhesive backed hook and loop fastener to hold the battery box or adapter firmly inside the folding interior compartment. The CL-8 unit can be carried on the top or bottom with room for the NP1-style battery that is stored neatly below the CL-8 using the black folding interior compartment. It has 3 fabric covered foam blocks that support and protect the CL8 cable, the unit and various size standard batteries that connect to the bottom of the 788T.
The AR-788CL8 case bottom unzips for table-top use and quick access to standard battery, storage cards USB and other connections. There is a protective rain boot that seals around XLR cables or folds neatly open. It is carried by a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with suede leather covered pad. Use the series of rings built-in to the case to balance the equipment comfortably. The case includes a Porta Brace RM-MULTI/E extreme microphone case to carry more receivers and add-on pouches.
