The DD-45 from Yamaha is a compact electronic drum kit. The kit has 4 touch-sensitive pads and a foot pedal input jack for kick/hi-hat use. The unit has 50 programmed drum kits with a large selection of voices, plus extra memory for creating your own custom kit.
The system also has 50 programmed songs for practicing. The drum part of these songs can be partially or completely erased, letting you take over as drummer. A Magic Tom feature lets you perform multi-tom fills on just 1 of the pads, while the beat keeps going on the other pads. A 3.5mm aux input is provided so you can connect your MP3 player or CD player to jam with your favorite tunes. For terrific versatility, the unit can operate on 6 standard AA batteries, or via an AC adapter (sold separately).
