This Aquatica Remote Control Release allows you to fire the camera from a distance. Possible applications include: Pole camera operation for shark or whale photography, and long exposures on a tripod mounted housing for deep wreck photography. There is also a host of other scientific or professional photo uses.
The trigger assembly is made of anodized aluminum. It is connected to the included extra bulkhead via a standard Nikonos to Ikelite strobe cable. The cable can be lengthened by adding an extension cord. One end of the inner cable is attached to the additional bulkhead. The other side gets plugged into the camera's electronic cable release socket. You can now trigger the camera from a distance. Since the Aqautica housing, for the Nikon D90 allows mounting of a 3rd bulkhead, you still have dual strobe capabilities.
