The Opteka 43mm 0.3X HD Ultra Fisheye Lens Adapter uses multi-coated, low-dispersion glass to produce crisp, high-definition video images. Great for dramatic effects and extremely wide fields of view--think sports, think dream sequences, think the HAL-9000 computer--this fisheye adapter screws onto the front of your existing camcorder lens and bends a 180° view into a peephole-style circle. Straight lines become curved, noses become bulbous, eyes become goggly, and objects in your viewfinder will be closer than they appear.

Next to uselss
Included spacer ring was required in order to thread with my Panasonic TM300, even though it is supposedly the proper thread size for my camera. Most useful when zoomed out, as that is the only time you will achieve anything approaching clarity. When zoomed out, everything off-center is soft. Zoom in at all and image immediately begins to soften. Zoom in past 3x on my camera and everything suddenly goes drastically out-of-focus to the point where nothing is recognizable. My other conversion lenses don't have this problem; only these two Opteka lenses I ordered do.

Nothing Fishy About This Lens!
This lens provides a fisheye effect like no other lens. It increases the view drastically. A shot of a lamp becomes a shot of the lamp in the living room. It truly is incredible. Worth the cost.

Sharp Quality Lens
Lens works great with my Canon HFM500, just what I needed. I use it mostly for filming vlog material, so its easy to prop on a mini tripod and film right at my computer, acting as a webcam. Fisheye has minimal distortion around the edges, which means its quality glass! Shipped very fast, thank you B&H!

Awesome lens, Awesome price
Was going between a century optics and the opteka and i have to say the opteka preformed just as good as the $500 century optics lens. So if you are someone who is looking for a very nice fisheye lens but not wanting to drop 500 bucks, i strongly suggest going with the opteka 43mm. Good product.

Not Great
Returned it shortly after I bought it. It was too distorted. You could easily see the sunshade on each side. You can't zoom through as some have claimed but I wasn't surprised by that. I guess it will work for skateboarding or sports like that. I'm not saying it's a bad lens just not for my uses.

Really nice fisheye, really nice wide and clear image. It's gonna be perfect for some shots I've been thinking of, as of now I still haven't edited anything but I'm excited to.
