If you're looking for big sound from a thin, compact surround sound speaker system the JVC TH-BS7 4.1 Chanel Soundbar System is the one you should be looking at.
Total power is 180 Watts and that includes a 100 watt wireless subwoofer. The surround left, front left, front right and surround speakers are embedded in a super slim soundbar that's about three feet wide and only an inch and half thick. The two surround channels are processed using JVC's Front Surround technology to provide a surround sound effect without the need for rear speakers.
The final part of the system is an amplifier/control unit that's also a mere inch and a half thick. In that narrow space JVC engineers have managed to include an analog (RCA) audio input and three digital optical inputs. The amp also boasts both Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound decoders.
