The DVI FM500 Extender Kit with 60' Cable from Gefen is a special kit that includes everything you need to transport DVI signals over extended distances using fiber-optic cable. This kit includes a DVI FM Extender distribution system and a 60' fiber-optic cable.
This solution can be used to transport signals up to 5000' (1524m). The maximum distance will be determined by the type of fiber-optic cable used. Optical signal transmission provides immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI).
