The grids give me greater control of my lighting.

Good Narrow Beam Grid

This 10 deg grid gives a nice narrow beam when used with a 7 reflector. However it will not fit just any reflector. It works best on a reflector that has a recess for a honeycomb grid. It will not work on a reflector the is tapered all the way to the front rim. However, I know that some photographers just tape it to one of those reflectors and leave it on all the time.

The reflector that comes with the Amaran 150c RGB LED Monolight BH #AM150C does not have an insert to accept a grid. It will not work with the hyper reflector that comes with the light no.

I don't know; I think I remember from the Profoto Zoom Reflector 2 reviews that they changed the reflector size just a little.. people were annoyed because they can't use the grids that fit the first zoom reflector. But I don't know what size grids either one takes.. might show in specs ..

The Vl 150 reflector does not have a reflector lip. You would need a 7" reflector with a lip.
