Panasonic's SDR-T50 Standard Definition PAL Camcorder is an affordable way to document life as it happens. The camera captures standard def videos and 640 x 480 still image capture to a 4GB built-in flash memory or to optional SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. When a memory card is inserted Panasonic's relay function automatically starts recording to it when the internal memory fills up.

At the heart of the T50 you'll find a 1/8" CCD image sensor running the show. Working with the sensor to capture your memories would be the 2.7" LCD, 78x Enhanced Optical Zoom, Advanced O.I.S., and a 33mm wide angle lens. A function that helps take the guesswork out of getting the shot just right is Intelligent Auto, which takes over and adjusts the camcorder to right settings for the scene. When you're ready to share your memories the Easy Upload to YouTube function has your back.

Flash Memory Recording
The SDR-T50 records to a 4GB built-in flash memory or to optional SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. The camera is equipped with a relay recording function that automatically changes the recording media to the SDXC/SDHC/SD Memory Card when the built-in memory becomes full to ensure uninterrupted recording

iA with AF/AE Tracking
The iA function automatically activates convenient functions during shooting. These include the AF/AE Tracking, which optimizes the focus and exposure for a selected subject to ensure beautiful results. After you "lock on" to a subject at the center of the screen by pressing the AF/AE button, the camera follows it around, keeping it in sharp focus and properly exposed. The iA function, including Face Detection, Advanced O.I.S., Intelligent Contrast Control and Intelligent Scene Selector, produces outstanding results under virtually all shooting conditions

YouTube Uploading makes it fast and easy to upload clips by simply installing the VideoCam Suite software, which is included
Quick Power On
Panasonic's Quick Power-On feature helps capture candid shots, while also saving energy by allowing the user to keep the LCD closed and the power off when not shooting
Long Recording Mode
Long Recording Mode, which allows for double the record time as the normal record mode, is made possible by the camcorders' support of the H.264/AVC format with its higher compression ratio
Intelligent Contrast Control
