Was replacing the toner and drums in my MFC-9320CW and figured I may as well replace the waste toner box while I was at it. The replacement appears identical to the one that came in the printer. After I replaced it, I took the old box apart and realized I probably could have just emptied it, but what the heck. Impeccable service from B&H, as always.

What is the Brother Waste Toner Box? What is its difference from standard brother toner cartridge? My printer is Brother MFC-9125CN.
The waste toner box collects excess toner from every print process. Once it's full, the printer will stop working until it is replaced with an empty waste toner box. It isn't a toner cartridge, but rather stores the excess toner from the toner cartridges.
