The JonyJib Pro 27 is a modular jib arm built to be lightweight and portable without sacrificing functionality. The design revolves around a series of 4' sections that provide 3' of extension each (since there is a 1' overlap when the modules are connected). This model comes with 8 sections, for a total height of 27' (8.23m). All the modules of the jib arm can be stored in a 48" tripod bag. Also included in this package are a camera platform, leveling cable, pivot bracket, Mitchell mounting hub, and a rear control and weight mounting center.

Jony JonyJib Pro Reviews
Not a toy jib!
The JonyJib Pro/30 is my main jib for flying real broadcast cameras weighing nearly 20lbs for concerts, broadcasts, awards shows, or whatever a producer comes up with. Having a 24-foot reach, the JonyJib puts me in direct competition with operators using rigs that cost 4 times as much. The JonyJib is a solid design which some may see as a bit more complicated to assemble but going head to head with a guy with a well known rig that also begins with a 'J' at a major event, assembly / breakdown time was maybe 3-5 minutes longer. I feel that having large solid bolts not only keeps everything secure, they also look reassuring to the person who just put their $65k on the end of your jib. Support from JonyJib is very responsive and friendly. Sure, I would tweak a few things in the design (and have) in the 7 years that I've owned and run my business around this jib but I would recommend it as a good starter rig or studio rig. It is a great value and can pay for itself in short order with years of great service!
IT's pretty big
The Jib is nice and long, but the problem is with the weight of the materials and that it is complicated to assemble. The entire thing has to be bolted together. It could benefit from a quick lock system. Kind of looks like more work could go into engineering it.
