Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing Compares Bought two of the Avenger F1000 pump cups for my automotive photography. Injunction with the Avenger F1000 I also purchased three Manfrotto Super Clamps. Both of these items work wonders to allow me to capture breath taking photos from angles you wouldn't be able to get without them. The construction is pretty durable and the price is amazing. All of my photographer friends use the same setup and I wouldn't choose or trust any other product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strong and flexible The F1000 is my 'go-to' suction mount. It's great for most of my needs, and while the surface needs to be smooth (like class or steel) it does not need to be flat and I have had this mounted on uneven surfaces of vehicles. There is a small amount of flex though in the rubber (which is unavoidable I guess) that requires the use of 2-3 or more of these for the most rigid of supports. I generally use 2, with super-clamps and a boom pole but have found that adding a 3rd reduces camera shake. As for their overall strength, I think an analogy will serve best here. I had a client who was hesitant of my attaching about $8k worth of camera gear to his car, so I mounted one of these to his car's rear window and told him to try and pull it off. He couldn't. Then before I could stop him he had an extra BIG tug and pulled the window out of his car. Oops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Put this on a plane and it was rock seta I recently used this on a twin turbo prop aircraft in Micronesia (www.lostclipper) while it was attached to a GoPro Hero 2. As you can see, it was rock steady in the 180 MPH wind. I trust this implicitly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely doesn't suck This thing sucks in all the ways you want it to and none of the ways you don't. I've been using it to attach my camera to the hood of a car to take some motion shots. These cups attach super easy and come off with no damage to the car. I'm very satisfied with these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solid -- better than the alternatives Hey, I know you can get cheap suction cups at Harbor Freight. I've done that. But then you waste time (and risk damage to underlying surface) in trying to tie stuff on to them. What you really need isthis. It's articulated, strong, and has the very stud you need for mounting virtually anything. As photos of these in use indicate, you want more than one. CLEAN the surface to near sterile before using on auto paint and monitor suction and you're golden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product EASY TO REMOVE I used this product last week for a shoot and I have to say it is amazing, especially considering the price it is just perfect. We used only one suction cup to mount a Canon 5D with a 24-70 L Lens on a car and it worked perfect. Of course you get more safety with two of those but one seemed two work just fine. I saw that a lot of people said that the release is kind of a pain. I believe the only thing you need to do is pull out the pin that you pump with, which releases the suction and makes it very simple to remove. Hope that helps. Have fun with it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This thing is a game changer! I had seen other suction mounts and used the Manfrotto version with just the 1/4 20 mount, and it worked, but when I needed a large rigging setup, it had me worried. With the baby swivel pin and hefty crank I was able to use a sleeve and connect to another baby pin and connect that to my mafer, etc.. and make a sturdy rig that I was confident in. Me and my buddies joked about how strong it actually was and did a test of sticking it to a glass panel, and handing off of it. It sure stuck there until we released the suction pump. Wow is this thing incredible !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty I bought this to build a Car Rig. I had imagined these things were smaller. I was surprised when i opened the box, how big they are. I have tried them on my car and wow. You can easily tow a car with these if you ever needed too.
