The Kramer 3G HD-SDI AES Audio Embedder and De-embedder is a broadcast-quality unit designed for video signals up to 3G HD-SDI and embeds and de-embeds 4 AES/3id audio streams with a maximum data rate of 3 Gbps. The audio embedder / de-embedder is useful for broadcast and production studios and is applicable for digital / analog AV authoring.
Kramer's reKlocking and equalization technology rebuilds the digital signals to travel longer distances. The group select feature will help you to select the group containing the channel pair to embed or de-embed. The AES Audio Embedder and De-embedder supports multi-standard operations such as SDI (SMPTE 259M and SMPTE 344M), HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M), and 3G HD-SDI (SMPTE 424M).
The optional RK-1 adapter allows you to rack mount 2 units side-by-side in a 1U rack space.
