The Kramer 1:2 Twisted Pair Line Driver & Distribution Amplifier for twisted pair signals distributes a twisted pair input to 2 identical twisted pair outputs; it is suitable for presentation and multimedia applications as well as long range graphics distribution for schools, hospitals, security, and stores. The HDTV compatible amplifier offers a maximum resolution of WUXGA (Widescreen Ultra eXtended Graphics Array) and 1080p.
The distribution amplifier uses UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) or STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) cables such as CAT 5. When connected to the transmitter or receiver, the power connect system feature provides power to both the units when they are within the range of 150ft (50m) from each other. The amplifier includes level (gain) and EQ (peaking) controls as well as an EQ trimmer for adjusting the EQ (equalization) compensation; a level trimmer adjusts the video signal level.
The optional RK-3T rack adapter allows you to mount 3 rack mount units side-by-side in a 1U rack space.
