Kramer XGA / Audio Twisted Pair Transmitter
Key Features
  • Suitable for Component (YUV)
  • Suitable for Computer Graphics Video
  • Used for S/PDIF Audio Signals
  • HDTV Compatible
The Kramer XGA / Audio Twisted Pair Transmitter is suitable for component (YUV) or computer graphics video, unbalanced stereo audio or S/PDIF audio signals. It converts audio and video to a twisted pair signal, allowing for transmission to the TP-46 receiver. The HDTV compatible transmitter offers a maximum resolution of up to UXGA (Ultra eXtended Graphics Array) and 1080p, and is compatible with Kramer's VS-81ETH, TP-122, TP-46, TP-50, TP-310A, and TP-305A receivers.

UTP cables offer an efficient, fast, and uncluttered environment, which makes the unit suitable for presentation and multimedia applications, long-range graphics distribution, and security/military applications. When connected to the transmitter or receiver, the power connect system provides power to both units when they are within the range of 150ft (50m) from each other.

The transmitter uses the UTP (unshielded twisted pair) or STP (shielded twisted pair) cables such as CAT 5. It includes H and V sync polarity settings for enhanced display compatibility with the CAT 5 output. While the system range is up to 320ft (100m), it can be extended depending upon the resolution and cable type.

Two Select buttons allow you to choose the video signal input (XGA1 or component) as well as the audio input (digital or analog signal). Pushbuttons allow remote control of the functions.

The front panel of the transmitter offers an independent A & V switching as well as a contact closure switching for quick control. With the optional RK-3T rack adapter you can rack mount 3 units side-by-side in a 1U rack space.
