This B&H Kit includes the Manfrotto 209 Tabletop Tripod, and Manfrotto 492 Micro Ball Head. This is the perfect combination to support lightweight cameras, yet small enough to slip in your pocket.

The 492 Micro Ball Head is a small, light head that is ideal for point and shoot cameras and camcorders. It has lateral tilt of +/-90°, 360° panning and a 1/4"-20 threaded camera stud.

Made of rugged, heavy-duty aluminum, the 209 Tabletop Tripod folds down small enough to slip into your camera bag or coat pocket, and is ready to give quick support to a lightweight camera. It features sturdy legs with sure-grip tips for stability. The tripod is 5.12" end-to-end when folded, and provides a working height of 1.77" when in use. The optional 259B column can be added to give an extra 10" extension.

209 Tabletop Tripod with 492 Micro Ball Head Kit is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of stability in a little package It's perfect for bracing against a wall or other surface when a full-size tripod is not available. I attached an Acratech 1142 quick release clamp and find that I use it far more than I thought I would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little Titan I have been using 709b for about 4 years and love it. Don't let the small size fool you. It is very strong and sturdy. I had mounted gopro, flash to pro dslr with 70-200mm. No problems. Of course I won't rest my weight on it like I would as though it is a 055 or 190 for added stability. Recently, I managed to break off one of the legs rather spectacularly while using it with gopro. Disappointed, far from it. I am very rough with it. So, I immediately bought another one. This time with the 492 head which is more substantial and easier to use with the tear drop twist lock. Two little rant: (1) would prefer rubber feet over cork feet. I actually put heat shrink tube over it to make the much more sturdy although at the cost of some grip. (2) 492 disc has a smooth surface unlike the 709. 709 has better grip. That said, most people tightens the mini tripod on the camera by the legs rather than the disc so guess it is not important. I prefer this 209,492 or 709 over the newer PIXI or even the PIXI EVO. While the push button adjustment or spring loaded adjustment is convenient, it is just not as reliable as 709 or 492. The EVO has multiple leg angle adjustment but the legs do flex. 709 or this 209,492 have no flex at all. The best thing about PIXI and PIXI EVO is that they have rubber feet. Where carrying a large tripod is impractical, this is a heaven sent and has saved me one than once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Tripod Wanted a compact, sturdy easy to use tripod for my Sony RX100. It is very well made, smooth in operation and provides a secure, stable mount for traveling light. Unlike many of the other table top tripods I looked at, it is evident that there was more attention to detail in the manufacture of this product than many of it's competitors. The castings (legs) and machining (ball head) are very nice, resulting in a smooth operation...
