The NS7 is an intuitive all-in-one workstation and USB interface for use with Serato ITCH DJ software (included). A traditional 2-channel DJ mixer with replaceable VCA crossfader and level faders also serves as the USB interface. There are balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono analog output connections, and an RCA (L/R) input for connecting line-devices such as drum machines, MP3 players, etc.
Two direct-drive motorized platters surround the mixer (like any traditional DJ setup), and feature 7" vinyl on top of actual slipmats for an authentic analog turntable feel. The motor's torque may be adjusted to reflect modern or traditional turntable feel, and of course the platters are sensitive for scratching, back-cuing, etc.
Each deck also features Numark's Strip-Search touch strip for accurate, turntablist-style needle-dropping. All this in a package that also includes Serato ITCH DJ software for the Mac and Windows OS; simply add the laptop and you'll be playing your set in no time.
