Duet Breakout Balanced BREAKOUT - Breakout Box for Apogee Duet

Apogee's Duet brought the company's legendary digital conversion to a broader audience. Its only drawback was the breakout cable that carried all the inputs and outputs was susceptible to twisting. Duet Breakout provided an elegant and substantial solution with their original duet:BREAKOUT.

The Balanced BREAKOUT is an upgrade to the original unit by providing balanced outputs on 1/4" TRS phone connectors. Inside are 2 Jensen transformers that convert the Duet's unbalanced output to balanced without changing the sound of the unit. Output is still 100% passive and line level.

Providing durability with professional quality, the breakout box replaces the breakout cable originally shipped with the Duet, making the system far more road-worthy and compact. Additionally, the balanced nature of the box means that much longer cable runs are possible in both studio and touring environments.
