Simply log on to any Internet PC or mobile device to view full motion video as well as to control the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom functions. Video is captured using H.264, a compression method that reduces file sizes while maintaining excellent image quality.
A sophisticated motion detection system ensures that only important events are captured. In addition to detecting motion, the camera, with its Triple Sensor function, has the ability to sense body heat and sound in the surveillance area. To minimize false alarms, you can set each sensor to operate individually or program all sensors to be on at the same time. You can also set sensors to activate at a certain time of day. Additional I/O ports are provided for connecting external alarm devices.
Upon sensing activity, the camera will send an email alert along with an attached image of the scene to your PC or mobile device. Images can also be sent to a Panasonic VIERA CAST enabled TV. This way you are assured of remaining apprised of all occurrences wherever you are.
Because of its wireless network interface, you can quickly set up the camera in the area you need to secure. There is also a physical Ethernet port on the camera in case you need a more secure connection. Included with the camera is a software program for managing the viewing and recording of up to 16 cameras.
