You've got yourself a Samsung 3D-capable TV and a 3D-capable Blu-ray player. Now all you need is the Samsung 3D Starter Kit (Two 3D Glasses & 3D Movie Disc). This Starter Kit includes two pair of glasses.
The glasses work by responding to a sync signal transmitted by compatible Samsung HDTVs. Many times per second, faster than the eye can perceive, the HDTV shows the image meant for the left eye and then the image for the right eye. The glasses alternately block first one eye then the other. It all happens so fast that your brain sees a 3D image.
This set also includes the 3D Blu-ray disc version of the Paramount/DreamWorks hit movie Monsters vs. Aliens 3D, so if you've got a compatible Samsung TV and Blu-ray disc player you've got everything you need to have your first at-home 3-D movie night. (Popcorn sold separately.)
The glasses are battery-operated and a single CR2025 coin-type battery (included) lasts about 50 hours in normal use.
