The item that I received had visible scruffs and scratches and looks like a previously used piece. I received it in India (which means there is no way I can send it back). Very disappointed - especially since I also spent so much in shipping and customs. The packaging was unharmed - which means these could not have happened in transit.
It is a counter weight, and it counters the weight perfectly

It is a weight. It is specially designed for Celestron mounts. I needed it. I paid the price. B&H delivered promptly. I am satisfied.
