SLIK Compact Tripod II

The Slik Compact Tripod II is compact and perfectly sized for travel. It folds down to only 14.17" (37.3 cm) and is lightweight (1.26 lb, 571.5 g). It reaches a maximum height of 38.83" (99.0 cm) and will support cameras, camcorders, or scopes weighing up to 2.75 lb (1.24 kg). It comes with a 2-way pan head with a textured surface to keep your camera or camcorder from slipping and an easy-grip pan handle for smooth panning and locking the head just where you want it to be.

The Compact II improves upon the easy-to-use features of its predecessor, the popular Compact Tripod XL, by adding Slik Speed-Release leg locks which are faster and easier to operate than the traditional twist-lock legs. At the top of the center column is a bubble level to keep your equipment perfectly positioned. This tool is particularly useful for shooting landscapes and horizons.

The gearless "lift'n lock" center column features an oversize locking collar, and rubber leg tips provide traction outdoors and protect surfaces indoors. Lightweight and sized perfectly for fitting into a backpack or gear bag, the Compact II Tripod is an excellent tripod when you are on the go.
