Impact 10032380 Overview

The Impact Sync Cord Male PC to Sub Mini is an 18" (45 cm) cable. It features a sub-mini plug at one end, and a male PC (post connection) plug at the other end. This allows radio remote control receivers (e.g. MicroSync Receiver) to be connected to the Canon 580EX II or Nikon SB-26, SB-28, SB-80, SB-800, and SB-900 flashes for remote triggering. It can also be used with lightmeters, which usually use a PC male cord. In addition, it can be used to trigger small flash units like Morris or SP brands from the camera.

It didn't have good continuity unless it was at a very specific angle. I disassembled it and found the break was somewhere in the middle. It was not usable out of the box. I figure I just got a lemon, but buy two if you need a guarantee.

No, the Impact Sync Cord - Male PC to Sub Mini - 18" (45 cm) would not work to trigger the Minolta Auto 128 Flash from the Minolta SRT-101. That flash uses a different connection.

Not sure. I would call Canon and ask. I think most of these connectors are a standard size so I would guess that to be the case but Canon can tell you for certain. You can also call the Photo Department at B&H. Those guys are a wealth of knowledge.
