The Easyrig Cinema 3 500N is a body-worn support system for camera operators working with camera rigs weighing 24 to 28.5 lb. The system works by using a suspension line to support the weight of the gimbal rig, taking the load off your shoulder, neck, and arm muscles, and distributing it across your torso. This lets you shoot for longer periods of time without worrying about arm fatigue. The system consists of the Cinema 3 Vest, 500N shock absorber, and a standard support arm. Also included is a carrying bag for convenient storage and transport of the Easyrig system.

Would this not work well with a lighter set up? ...
Would this not work well with a lighter set up? Say 12-16lbs. I often use the Minimax, but sometimes have heavier setups.
This is designed to work with setups between 24 to 28.5 pounds. It will not work with a lighter setup.

Is the vest one size fits all?
For the most part, yes. I'm a relatively smaller dude... 5'9 155lbs. It fits me nicely, but all of the straps are as tight as they can go. If you are smaller it'd likely be difficult to get a snug fit. It looks very expandable from there though. My 6'2 220lbs. friend used it no problem. So if you are bigger/taller you'd be fine. Not sure what the upper ceiling is for weight/height. All straps are adjustable seem to conform to various body types. Hope this helps!
