ASUS T101MT Overview

The Eee PC T101MT-EU17 Tablet Netbook Computer from ASUS is a light and compact netbook computer with a convertible tablet design. The 2.9-pound system features a LED backlit 10.1" glossy display with touch input capability. Its Lithium-polymer battery is rated for 6.5 hours of life between charges.

You can use the computer in a standard configuration, controlling it via the keyboard and trackpad as you would any other notebook. The screen rotates 180° and folds flat to facilitate tablet use. A suite of touch-aware applications are included, allowing you to get the most out of the system.

The computer is powered by an Intel Atom CPU running at 1.66GHz. It boasts 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, an integrated webcam, and an SD card reader. Because SD cards are easily swappable, this gives you the ability to purchase additional cards as your storage needs increase. Of course, ASUS also gives you 500GB of online storage with the purchase of the computer, perfect for backup of crucial files.

With the included Windows 7 Starter, the screen supports standard touch mode. While the hardware fully supports Multi-Touch gestures, the computer requires Windows 7 Home Premium (not included) or better for Multi-Touch software support.
