The Duende Mini Musician's Bundle from Solid State Logic features a desktop DSP enclosure designed to bring the classic sound of SSL consoles to studios of any size. It provides 32 mono channels of plug-in processing power to your host digital audio workstation software, and works with FireWire compatible Windows or Mac desktop computers. Four powerful SSL plug-ins are included that utilize the full processing power of the destop DSP, without any strain on the host CPU.
The included EQ and Dynamics Channel plug-in were based on the EQ and compressor stages of the venerable XL 9000 K Series mixing console. It features a host of useful sound shaping tools, such as separate high and low pass filters, a 4-band parametric equalizer, an independent compressor/limiter, and a gate/expander. Also included is the Stereo Bus Compressor plug-in, based on the compressor from the SSL XL 9000 K analog recording console. The plug-in can "glue" a mix together and has an unmistakable character that can be heard on countless hit records.
With Drumstrip users can attain increased presence, clarity and detail in their drum tracks, reduce spill in individual tracks and restore natural brightness. The plug-in also helps to achieve greater perceived loudness, shorten or lengthen the attack and sustain of percussive signals, tighten up booming toms, make kicks and snares stand out in a mix and excels at parallel compression of room microphones.
Combining EQ and dynamics sections with essential vocal processors, Vocalstrip aims to bring power, character and clarity to vocal tracks from a single interface. Four processing tools are included, carefully selected and calibrated to deliver great results every time.
