But the VX9 offers more than the ability to read uncompressed video from RED and other digital cinema cameras. It also provides numerous tools for viewing that video--including overscan, underscan, pixel to pixel, and even split-screen comparison. Need to flip the image or turn it on its side? The monitor sports 1/4-20 mounting holes on all four sides, letting you mount the VX9 in any orientation your shot requires.
This model comes with a Canon Battery Plate, so you can easily power it with the same DV batteries used by your camcorder.
