The Arca-style compatible LP-57 Quick Release Lens Plate from Kirk Enterprises is for use with Canon's 100mm f/2.8L Macro USM lens. It is custom machined from solid alloy aluminum with which yields a plate that will not twist while supporting the weight of the lens. The LP-57 comes with multiple mounting screws so you can easily mount the tripod collar and prevent it from slipping.
The lens plate is anodized with a scratch-resistant black satin finish, and mounting screws are captive and machined from high strength stainless steel. You gain better control, greater speed, and more security with every shot.
Stainless steel screws are included to create safety stops so the lens plate can slide halfway across the Quick Release clamp before stopping, giving you greater control without sacrificing flexibility.
