Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great System Space saver I was going to use a system that would require stands, but when I saw this I was excited. The price was perfect and I just had to try it out. It took a bit to mount to our wall.. figuring out how to mount and be secure was a challenge.. well not really, but needed to be supported by studs and there was none in the places these brackets needed to be. So we mounted 1x4's to the studs then mounted the brackets to the 1x4's works perfect.. Im so happy that I found this wall mounting Kit. Once we figured out the stud issue the actual mounting of the brackets and installing the paper was only 15 minutes. I love the chain system too, up and down with ease.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not meant for 9 foot rolls This product would work great if you stick with 5 ft or smaller rolls. Our 9 foot rolls are too heavy for the chains. The chains are made of flimsy plastic and don't work at all. We just go up a ladder and use our hands to turn the rolls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for the buck!! When I decided to install a studio in my basement, I first went with a Cameron backdrop support with 2 tripods and a crossbar. Great system, but it took way too much space for what I could spare. But now... WOW! This Interfit backdrop support system is WAYYYY better suited for my needs. I can fit my 2 (or 3) paper rolls on this thing, and its very sturdy. Very easy to install too. The chain system is a bit tricky, but still far better than rolling the paper manually. I simply LOVE it! My backdrop is now closer to the wall, so it gives me more space to use telephotos. I can change backdrop as easy as 1, 2, and that's it!.... What an awesome puyrchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent option for paper rolls I used this setup in my studio to mount three paper rolls in a small space. The instructions weren't the best, but usable. Pay close attention to the images. I will be buying another one very soon!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceeded Expectations Using for fine art studio. The kit is very well designed and the mounting hardware is heavy duty. To reduce overall weight, Interfit uses plastic for some components, such as the pull-chain & brake assembly. I guess in this case you have to compromise at some point with the bearing weight factor when using the mounted kit at it's 3-roll capacity (another nice feature!). This is the only reason I gave it 4, instead of 5 stars. Just be patient when using the pull-chain(s) and whatever you do, I strongly suggest not attempting to pull the roll down by the paper and with your hands, as this will cause the pull-chain to bind up. Easy enough to avoid though. I would buy again for sure. Hope this helps. Thx B&H!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent kit I use this kit to easily use 9 feet large paper rolls. A little bit difficult to fix on the wall as it is difficult to find wood studs hidden in the wall. I had to use a large piece of wood securely fixed to the studs and then I fixed the mounting brakets on it. Brakets made of steel, very strong. The things (I don't know how to call them) that you have to put at both ends of the paper rolls are made of plastic and are also very strong. Write now I have two rolls installed (9 feets by 36 feet) and it feels strong. I'm not affraid to find them on the floor tomorrow morning. The only thing that could be improve would be to find a way to stop the rolls from turning to the end. There is a stopper but it is difficult to ajust, I want the rolls to turn and also to stop turning, so it is difficult to adjust the stopper to perform both. Nice product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! This is a must if you have a studio. It saves so much space, and it's great that you can roll the backdrop back up with the chain. The downside is that we had to purchase other items from Home Depot to mount it (such as better anchors for plaster and drill bits, etc). Other than that, it's a great product at a great price! Side note: if your backdrop doesn't gave a cardboard center, you'll have to buy a metal pole.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wall Mounting (non complete) Kit I recieved the kit unaware that more hardware needed to be purchased to use them. So my backdrops have been laying on the floor till my husband had the time to go find the proper metal tubing needed to use the kit properly. He works when most steel yards are closed so he get's to spend his holiday today driving around looking for one that's open. Guess it's my fault for not doing better research but $ for the kits that include the tubes is pretty ridiculous amount to pay. The price for the product is fair, just be prepaired to buy more. Shipping was fast :)
