Is the connection to hot shoe required? Can this be used along with Yongnuo flash trigger?
The RPS Lighting RS-RT09/D90 2-in-1 Wireless Remote does not need the hot shoe of a camera. The shoe is for mounting the receiver only. It would be recommended to use a cold shoe bracket such as this Vello if you are not planning to mount the receiver on the camera's shoe: https://bhpho.to/3pSMOTG
