Stand is much heavier than I expected which was great. Really needed the extra support this stand provides. Extends even further than what I need it to. Great product!

The QuikLok A-50AM Tripod Studio Boom Stand has a telescoping boom arm that can extend up to 87 inches (221 cm).

Is this stand collapsible? Does it come with a bag to transport it?

Yes, the stand is collapsible to 53.8". It does not included a bag for transporting it. You could use the Ultimate Support Bag-99D Heavy-Duty Padded Tote Bag - for Two TS-99 or TS-88 Speaker Stands (B&H # ULBAG99D) which has interior dimensions of 14.5 x 60.5". That should give you enough space for the wheels and cables too.
