The MICROgrip Master Kit from Matthews gives you a complete set of nimble, miniaturized MICROgrip mounting and grip products--you have all the same moves and features as a 2 1/2" grip head available, but in a more compact (1.25"/32mm diameter) package. Included in this master kit are 6 MICROgrip grip heads, 2 weighted bases, 2 each of 4", 6", 8", 12", and 20" rods (3/8" diameter), 2 MICROgrip shot bags (1 lb each), 1 clip (3/8" thread), and 1 1/4" to 5/8" pin. Available separately are a wide variety of micro scrims and flags. The MICROgrip master kit is particularly suited to tabletop, product and miniature work.

If I screw six 20 microgrip rods together, and solidly screw it into two Matthews light stands via adapters, could that combined rod of metal of 10 feet long have the strenght to hold this green screen here? The MICROgrip is very strong but it is not designed to do that. And it could break that set up that way.
