Primera's BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter is 100-disc capacity publisher that prints directly, in beautiful color and monochrome, onto printable DVD and CD-R and BD-R media at resolutions up to 4800dpi. The BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter comes with design software that lets you place photos, backgrounds, text and graphics anywhere on the disc.

It has two software-selectable input bins which can be used in combination or individually so that you don't have to spend time switching out media when a different type of disc is required for a specific job. The BravoPro Xi also features Primera's AccuDisc picking technology which incorporates precision mechanics and software to guarantee that only one disc is delivered to the print head at a time. This prevents wasting of media due to double discs or misfeeds.

The AutoPrinter will accept all types of inkjet-printable optical media, including Primera's TuffCoat with WaterShield CDs and DVDs which are highly water-, scratch- and smudge-resistant.

BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter is designed for unattended, hands-free, direct-to-disc printing. Just add a print file if desired, select a quantity and click on the "Go!" button.

A new wizard-driven software interface helps you to produce discs quickly and easily. Even if you've never printed a disc before, the software will lead you effortlessly through each step.

Afterburner Print Technology
BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter's Afterburner Print Technology (APT) uses an all-new print head technology from Lexmark that doubles the width of the print swath. This means that you'll be able to print more discs in less time. APT also has sophisticated firmware control to precisely maintain the outstanding print quality you'd expect from a printer with 4800 dpi print resolution and an industry-leading 3 picoliter droplet size. Primera has even made replacement ink cartridge alignment easy by making the process completely automatic.
No Assembly Required
BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter is fast and easy to set up because everything's built-in. Just take it out of the box. Plug in a single high-speed USB 2.0 interface cable. Turn on the power and install one software program. Total set-up time is less than five minutes. The attractive, transparent hinged cover ensures that the robotic mechanism, drives and recordable media are not accidentally bumped. It also protects against dust, spills and other possible contaminants.
Primera's Printable Media
Combine high resolution printing with Primera's TuffCoat with WaterShield CDs and DVDs to produce professional looking discs. TuffCoat with WaterShield discs are highly water-, scratch- and smudge-resistant. They also have a gorgeous, high-gloss finish. Of course, virtually all other brands of inkjet-printable optical media are also supported.

The BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter prints not only standard 4.72" (120mm) CDs and DVDs, but also several of the popular business-card shaped discs and mini CD/DVD formats. An optional media adapter kit is required.

Getting the Discs Out
In some applications such as medical imaging and video/audio-on-demand it is imperative that discs can be dispensed out the front of the unit. On the BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter, it's an automatic, built-in feature.
Selectable Input Bins
The BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter has two software selectable input bins. This means you can put 50 CDs on the left and 50 DVDs on the right. Or put 50 DVDs on the left and 50 BD-Rs on the right. Whatever combination works for you, you'll save the time and trouble of switching out media when a different type is required for a particular job.
Precise Disc Picking
Primera's AccuDisc picking technology uses patented, precision mechanics and software deliver just one disc to the print head at a time. This prevents misfeeds and double discs which can not only interrupt operation. Now in its seventh generation, AccuDisc has been further optimized for speed. As a result, disc picking is up to 200% faster than before.
Software
Built-in disc design software called SureThing Primera Edition (Windows) or DiscCover (Mac) lets you place photos, backgrounds, text and graphics anywhere on the disc, including as far into the middle of the disc as you wish - a major limitation with other brands of disc publishers.

In addition to the included PTPublisher software for disc burning and printing you also get these valuable extra built-in software features:

  • PTRip: lets you robotically RIP your personal music CDs and load them into Apple iTunes for iPhone, iPod and iPod Touch or Microsoft Media Player.
  • PTBackup: provides automatic, scheduled back-ups of your files to CDS, DVDs, or optional 25GB and 50GB Blu-ray discs.
  • PTProtect: with a single mouse click you can prevent unauthorized duplication of your valuable DVD video files. Three free protections are included.
Blue LED Status Indicator
The BravoPro Xi AutoPrinter is equipped with a blue LED status indicator. The soft blue glow not only helps you see what's going on inside, but pulses when supplies are getting low and blinks on and off if an error condition is reported. You'll always know the status of your jobs whether you're sitting next to the unit or standing on the other side of the room.
Kiosk Mode Kit Included
The included Kiosk Mode Kit allows you to use both of the AutoPrinter's bins as input, doubling your disc capacity from 50 discs to 100 discs. In the Kiosk mode, the finished discs are deposited out through the front "reject area" of the printer. In this mode all discs are ejected in this manner. Rejects can be identified in the stack because they will not be printed in the same manner as successfully recorded discs.
Integration Made Easy
Sometimes integration is required for applications like PACS/DICOM medical imaging systems, law enforcement and surveillance video, backup and archival, video and audio on-demand and more. Primera makes integration easy with a simple yet comprehensive Software Developer's Kit (SDK) for both Windows and Mac. The SDK is free to qualified developers.
