The Oben ACM-1400 4-Section Aluminum Monopod is a lightweight, sturdy one-legged camera support that enables you to capture steady shots without needing to carry or set up a full tripod. The monopod's flip-lock leg stages descend easily and lock into place securely, so setup is a breeze. Maximum height is 61", which facilitates comfortable operation for most users. It can support up to 17.6 lb, so you can mount any DSLR camera with most lenses, a point & shoot model, or even a compact camcorder.

For fine control over camera orientation, you can also attach a head to the monopod's reversible 3/8"-16 & 1/4"-20 mounting screw. Three set screws underneath the collar enable you to fasten the head securely to the plate. An Allen key is included & attached to the top leg section, so you're always ready to make adjustments.

The monopod collapses to just 19.2", so you can stow it in most carry-on bags. At only 1.05 lb, it's the perfect travel companion – lightweight, compact, and simple to operate – but highly capable and ready in an instant to help you capture the perfect shot.

I am very happy with the form and the quality of this monopod. I intend to use it for hiking, photography and shooting. It seems very sturdy for a light monopod. I wish the latch tension was adjustable.

Solid, and lightweight enough. Handy strap. Only complaint is the plate/screw mount construction, which can stick and be annoying when trying to switch thread sizes. The screw connector could have used one more thread on each size, too. Early on I worried a bit about the connection to my Lumix, but it stayed in place just fine. It's a small quibble on an otherwise very good monopod.

This was a gift for my daughter before she took a trip, and she's thrilled with bird photos she was able to take. Well built, feels substantial and works great. Also delivery time was just as indicated.

Like it very much goes well with my mirrorless Fugifilm x-t3 and 55/200 lens. Compact 21 and light, packs well and can leave my heavy 681B Manfrotto at home for larger Canon camera. Do wish it also had a ground spike for using on dirt like Manfrotto. Carolyn

I used this monopod for the first time on a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park and found it very effective in helping produce sharp images of wildlife while using a 600 mm lens. So far it seems well made and durable too. I liked its light weight and compactness too, as long hikes were taken while hauling my photo gear in a backpack.

The ACM-1400 4-Section Aluminum Monopod can be used with both the Canon T5i and the 5D II. You can attach your camera directly to the monopod, without the need of additional accessories, so it would be ready to use out of the box.

This is pretty inexpensive. Is it sturdy enough to use as a Walking Stick, and can you get replacements for the rubber cap on the bottom?

While it would be okay to walk around with with a camera on top, it is not meant to be used as a walking stick. Oben does not sell rubber caps for the bottom.
