Sturdy, simple, versatile

Some folks have complained about the price, but it's the only product I found that does exactly what this does with a sturdy, load-bearing build quality. I have a fairly hefty dual channel wireless microphone receiver that I use only occasionally. I had long ago purchased a custom metal tripod base enclosure for that receiver, but because it is such a process to take the enclosure off the bottom of the camcorder, I shot almost all the time with the empty mic receiver holder screwed to the bottom of the camcorder. This item makes it easy to slap the microphone receiver (or any other flat-bottomed accessory) onto the plate and have good stability.

It’s perfect for mounting my Lectosonics UCR4011 to my camera, and mounting Velcro is included which is not stated in the description. Highly recommended.
