. I work in the motion picture Special Effects business Pelican cases are the go to boxes to protect our equipment. I selected this panel mounting kit because it fits both a 1200 and a 1300 case. There is a third option however. If you reverse the mounting method of this bracket it will raise the finished panel over a quarter of an inch allowing greater internal space for components. That’s exactly what I have done and it proves masterful in allowing for a smooth control panel flush with the top of the lower case body. it’s not any harder to mount the larger panel than the smaller insert version as a rigid I designed.. If you need that additional space for component clearance it is genius.
