  • For 8.0" EdgeHD Telescope
The T-Adapter from Celestron allows the observer to attach a DLSR camera to an 8.0" EdgeHD telescope's prime focus. It threads onto the EdgeHD telescope's rear cell - a camera-specific T-ring is required to complete the assembly.

Once configured, the EdgeHD can be used for terrestrial digiscoping and short-exposure astrophotography. It can also be used for long astrophotography when using a separate guidescope.

Directly connect your DSLR body to your scope for prime shooting. Very basic, clearest/brightest images, but without the mag control provided by using different eyepieces. Needs DSLR specific adapter.

this T-adapter enables you to connect your DSLR camera to the scope (along with the camera specific t-ring that is sold separately). if you want to do astrophotography at all without unreliable digiscoping then this is a must have for the 8 Edge HD Evo scope. Does its job very well. Buy with confidence.

works perfectly

The only thing I would ask is that the actual measurements for the two pieces that come apart were listed in the description. I assumed it would be the correct size but having that info would be helpful when figuring out the image train when not using this with a DSLR camera. I did need to file down the threaded end to fit with my ZWO OAG but all in all this worked out perfectly.
