The PC Focus Control PCFC2 from JMI is designed for controlling a viewing-system's second motor with a computer. Often, astrophotographers employ two motorized focusers - one for the imaging scope, and the other for the guide scope. This unit, the PCFC2, is designed for this purpose. It can control the EV, NGF, RCF, MOTOFOCUS, and MOTODEC focusers, as well as other motors. There is no encoder feedback or positional display with the PCFC2. It is powered via the computer's USB port.
The PCFC2 is identical to the PCFC controller in all respects except for its USB identifier. With the addition of the PCFC2, it is possible to operate and control two separate focusers with one computer - a free software download is required and available from the JMI website. An additional focuser cable is also required.
