The ULN-R from Metric Halo is a convenient option that allows you to add 4 channels of microphone preamplification to your LIO-8. This fits into Metric Halo's "Future Proof" design philosophy. Users can purchase a LIO-8 for conversion and processing features and later on add 1 or 2 ULN-R units to add up to 8 channels of mic pres, without having to buy an entirely new system or get rid of your old one.
The ULN-R mic pre offers high gain, low noise, excellent common mode and RFI rejection, a flat frequency response, and low distortion. This ULN-R unit is for Channels 5-8 of your LIO-8. It can handle dynamic mics, phantom powered mics, ribbon mics, turntables, instruments, and line-level signals with equal ease and quality.
