The Oben QR-10 Quick Release Plate is a replacement camera plate that fits the Arca Swiss-style quick-release element of Oben's BE-106, BE-106T, BE-108, BE-108T, BE-113, BE-113T, BB-0, BB-0T, BC-0 & BC-0T ball head models. For camera stability, the top of the plate features a rubberized surface. Two studs on the bottom of the plate help prevent the camera & plate from sliding all the way forward or backward out of the ball head, in case the head's clamp is inadvertently left loose.

The plate is 1.95" (49.5 mm) long, and fits any standard Arca-type quick release mechanism.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I just purchased a L-Bracket to use with my Oben Tripod and I need a second quick release plate for the L-Bracket. I had been using this product with my Oben Tripod attached directly to the bottom of the camera and it had a problem. The problem was the screw that attaches the quick release directly to my camera would sometime come loose. This problem seems to be resolved by installing a L-Bracket and a second quick release. It seems the problem was most likely cause by the the surface on the bottom of the camera being to slick. The L-Bracket has a cork surface that mounts agains the camera bottom. I have not had no problem withe attaching screw coming loose.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Requires Allen Wrench to put on Camera The QR-10 Arca plate is a problem because the 1/4-20 screw requires an Allen wrench to tighten when connecting it to the camera. The QR-10 has no screw slot (e.g., for a coin), so is useless in the field without an Allen wrench. Accordingly, I am replacing QR-10 plate I received on an Oben Ballhead with the Induro PU-50 or PU-60 Arca plates.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works, but..... Using as a cheaper alternative to the name branded quick release plate which I already own. This is being used on a second camera body. It works but it is not the same fitment as the Arca Swiss model. The problem is that when adjusted to fit this quick release plate on my tripod head; swapping cameras with the Arca Swiss brand the camera slid out and almost hit the concrete. If you buy multiple quick release plate's I suggest buying the same brand and model for all of your cameras so you can avoid a mishap due to slightly different adjustments of the quick release for each plate. Now I have to adjust the head each time negating benefits of Quick release. Love being able to hand tighten this model over the Arca Swiss plate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not as good as sirui I bought this as an extra quick release plate for the Sirui K-10x ball head. At less than half the price of the equivalent quick release plate by Sirui (TY50), it's very tempting to buy this instead of the TY50. But comparing them side by side in my hand, you can definitely tell the quality of the QR-10 is not as good as the TY50. It is not as sturdy, slightly looser tolerance in the screw area, and doesn't have the anti-twist pins. So while I do plan on keeping this and use it for backup cameras, if I need another quick release plate, I would just cough up the dough and get the sirui one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QR-10 Quick Release Review Recently my friends and I decided to save some money (a relatively large amount) by building a camera shoulder mount on our own. We had built it out of PVC, weights, and thick padding. It was perfect by our standards. However, we were missing an actual mount for the camera we would be using (Canon 600D). We knew the standard screw size for cameras but we decided we would go ahead and purchase an item actually used for mounting cameras. The QR-10 Quick Release was ideal. It was small, incredibly durable, and the camera snugly fit on top of it. I am very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are rock solid Being new to Arca Swiss ball heads, I was a little taken back by the fact that I could not find quick release plates made by Arca Swiss! But these work great and made with the best of materials as I was able to crank down on it to lock it in without fear of stripping threads. I have worked with them for over a month now and have plenty of confidence that they will work well into the future. I also would like to add that I like the Arca Swiss quick release / locking a lot more than the ones I've used from other brands. I'm sold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exact replacement for what I lost The thing that is great about this purchase is I got the exact part I'd lost to my tripod, quick and easy at a great price. When I lost my quick release plate (in some canyon in west Texas?), I figured it would be tough to get the right replacement in time to get the family holiday pictures for the Christmas cards. But all it took was a short conversation with the B&H salesman and a few days later I had exactly what I needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have to Oben Tripod Users I purchased the plate as a backup to the one (and only one) plate that I currently have to my Oben Tripod. I highly recommend having a backup just in case you lose your main one or if you have a second body so that you don't constantly have to switch out the plate. I keep one on my camera and the other on the sleeve of my 70-200 zoom lens.
