DWA-075 DSLR Wide Angle Attachment is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wanted it to work, but it didn't make the cut. I bought this to use with my Nikkor 24mm PC-E tilt shift lens for architecture photography. Nikon's 19mm PC-E lens is around $3,500 and won't be in the budget anytime soon, so I rolled the dice and ordered this. It looks and feels like a very high quality piece of equipment so I was even more excited about it when I first unpacked it. But in use, the edges are complete mush even at f/11. I would like to be exaggerating when I say "mush", but really, it's quite terrible. Edges are stretched out and extremely fuzzy If all you care about is center sharpness, this will probably work okay for you, but it won't work for my application. Other considerations: Colors were pretty consistent with the bare lens' colors. Exposure did not shift when this adapter was threaded on. Side note, it comes with the 82mm step-up ring adapter attached, and you need a tiny jeweler's screwdriver to loosen a set screw in order to remove it so you can use it on a 77mm filter thread. See attached images, with and without the adapter. Shot on a Nikon D750 with the 24mm PC-E lens, unshifted. Both photos straight out of camera with no editing.
