Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 overview

  • 1Description

With Cyber Acoustics' CA-3602 3-Piece Flat Panel Subwoofer and Satellite Speaker System, you don't just hear your computer's audio: you live and feel it, especially the bass. This 2.1 computer speaker system features an aggressive 18W, 5.25" subwoofer driver that's housed in an acoustically balanced wood cabinet. Along with the subwoofer and the bombastic bass that it brings, you will also have at your listening pleasure two satellite speakers which each push two, 2" high-efficiency drivers. Fortunately, this system utilizes a low-distortion, high-power amplifier technology that allows you to pump up the volume while still retaining clarity.

This system delivers colossal bass and stellar overall sound for your computer audio or other electronic devices. To get started, simply connect the included 3.5 mm cable from the speakers to your computer's main sound input jack. Also, if you wanted to run your gaming system (requires a "Y" adapter cable), DVD player, or MP3 player through the speaker system, you would connect a 3.5 mm cable from the headphone jack of your device to the auxiliary input jack on the convenient, wired remote. In addition, the desktop remote features a volume control knob for the satellite speakers, a bass volume control knob for the subwoofer, and a headphone jack if you want to privately listen to audio. Since the system is designed for use in close proximity to your computer and other electronic devices, the speakers are magnetically shielded.

    Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 reviews

CA-3602 3-Piece Flat Panel Subwoofer and Satellite Speaker System is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 107.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazing I'm a college student with a decent sized room. I got this 2.1 system about 3 weeks ago and have been loving them since day one. The sound quality compares to systems that are worth around $70. Great bass, clear sound, except midrange seems to be not as great...but midrange is for people who listen to rock and I ain't one of them. The design is unique and cool, and the fact that it comes with a volume, bass, on/off control remote that has blue light in the middle is great. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great speakers I listen to tons of music on my computer and wanted to get new speakers. These got mostly really good reviews, but some people were not happy with them. I took a chance and I love them. They were easy to set up, the sound is perfect and you can go REALLY loud. It does take a bit to adjust the bass to a balanced level, bu other than that the set up was easy. I would definitely recommend them. And the shipping was SUPER fast. Literally the next day (free shipping even!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought To Use With A Laptop I bought these speakers when the internal speakers on my laptop started giving me enough aggravation that I wanted great sound without having to use headphones. They plug into the headphone jack. How much easier can it be than that?! Phenomenal sound and I love the remote pod. If there is anything not great about them, I have yet to discover it. What I also find amazing is that a tech support man from B&H actually talked me out of purchasing CA speakers that cost twice as much. He said these sound better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best $ I've spent in a LONG time I bought these speakers so I could use them to listen to my music through my computer with a little extra kick. Holy cow. Way better than I expected them to be. I actually have them hooked up in my living room at the moment, plugged into the headphone jack on the back so I can use them when watching movies.I hold a monthly game night at my house, and last week when people came over, I had the TV on and the speakers pumping. I asked everyone how much they thought the speakers cost. The only thing I don't care so much for is the amount of wires to make it all function. It can get a bit tangled, then again it's not meant to be moved around all over the place, so I think most people won't mind this once they have it all set-up.Overall, I'm extremely pleased. I'd say that's well worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A former HK CyberSticks fan--Bravo! I'd gone through two sets of Harman-Kardon CyberSticks (once they short out, there's not much that's user-accessible). I balked when I saw new SoundSticks approaching $200 but had heard good things about the Cyber Acoustics 3602. Surprise! They blew me away at 1/5 the cost. Perhaps the CyberSticks, with 4 JBL speakers in each, enhance the sound a tad, but the Cyber Acoustics sounded more natural and revealing. The bass, moreover, was overwhelming, but not to fear: everything is easily adjustable on this unit. The secret is the little round puck. It sits on your desk, allowing you to control volume of the subwoofer as well as the entire unit. Additionally, it has 2 additional inputs (for headphones, an HD tuner, etc.). I plugged my TV as well as my HD tuner into it and was instantly lifted up by the room-filling sound. The CyberSticks, by contrast, have no easily accessible balance or volume controls (get down on the floor to adjust the subwoofer). And their use is pretty much confined to your desktop computer. Even though I'm accustomed to paying $500 per bookshelf speaker and have a $1500 Tivoli stereo unit, I can recommend these without reservation--they sound almost as good--and for mere cookie-jar money. Don't even waste your time on the HK, Altec, Creative, or Logitech speakers. I've tried them all, and they don't hold a candle to this Cyber Acoustics Model. The sub-woofer is even constructed of genuine wood!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Speaker Kit You can't go wrong buying this kit for under $.In addition to all the positive comments about the CA-3602 System, I find that it makes a very good, (and very inexpensive), TV sound system when hooked up to a blue-ray player. You will need a Y cable to attach to your audio out on your player and also a coupler (1/8) to connect to the audio in on the CA-3602. Makes a huge improvement on sound compared to the tinny speakers on most flat screen TVs. Bought these from B&H about 9 months ago, and as usual the service is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great speakers at a great price! I am using the speakers for my desktop computer in our kitchen/dining area, where we spend most of our time. I listen to Blues and News while my wife likes Show Tunes. I wanted to get $ Bose speakers because they sound so great, but these at less then $ sound just fine. I get clear quality sound and with the adjustable base so I can custom the sound. My only problem, and it's a very small one, is that the on/off switch on the control pod is recessed and not super easy to work. Overall, great speakers for a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands Down.. The Best! I bought these speakers for my computer. After a couple of days I moved them to my living room to plug in to my big screen. They sound so fantastic as a 2.1 system I am now looking for computer speakers again. I have never heard so much kick butt bass. It fills my apartment! Strange from such a compact threesome. The two front speakers clarify the mids and highs... and the sub woofer... well, it rivals many expensive home units! I have a TV that has awesome sound. I was awestruck when I purchased it. I used these to separate the sound and I am truly impressed. Now I won't turn my TV off Pandora. I can't wait to try Netflix. I researched intensely before I bought and I did right... SO RIGHT. Now I need another for my computer. Movies, Music, Bothering your neighbors... buy these! They have all the features you want. The desk unit features Aux In, Bass Control, On/Off, Volume control... I am so pleased at the low price and I am going to buy a second unit for my computer now.
