The Cyber Acoustics CVL-1064 Desktop Microphone is slim, features a unidirectional polar pattern and desktop base with an On/Off switch. The microphone may be used for dictation, PA applications, depositions, board meetings and more. An attached cable measures 7 feet in length and terminates to a 1/8" (3.5mm) mini connection.

I knew what it cost, but performed like it was free. You have to be within a foot of the mic for it to pick you up, and the materials are extremely cheap. It works however, and I'll keep it for a backup, but with no other low cost option on B&H I had to go to the rain forest for a similar cost unit that works just fine.

So far, does what it's supposed to (we use it for language transcription). Great price.
USB versions of M=mic or headsets seem to be problematic. Not this simple audio jack model.
Functional, inexpensive, works like the internal laptop mic, but gets you away from the laptop noise. Working great for zoom, etc. B&H did a fine job (as always) getting it to me quickly.
