The Pearstone USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type A Female Cable (6') is a premium quality cable that extends your existing USB device by 6' (1.8 m). It meets all specifications of USB 2.0 and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices. This premium extension cable supports error-free data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbs.

Braided copper shielding and an aluminum foil wrap protects against electromagnetic and radio interference and ensures a clean signal transfer, even with large files at high speed. The connectors are hot pluggable and install with Plug-and-Play ease.

    I still use an audio interface from over a decade ago. My first audio interface is classic USB connection. I decided I wanted to clean up the signal and have a way to extend the distance between my computer and audio desk where I record. The cable arrived and when I plugged in the cable in between my device and computer I had absolutely no issues whatsoever getting the product to work, despite all the reviews that led to hesitancy after my purchase.

    I got this USB extension so that I can use my mouse and control my PC without getting up, when I'm feeling lazy :) And it works. It did glitch out a couple of times, but it's fine now.

    It sure will. As long as your computer has a USB 2.0 or greater port, this will work fine on a Mac or a PC.
