The Matthews Solid Digital 12 x 12' Green Screen is a must for anyone who shoots digital/video photography. This handy background for digital and video shooting can be rapidly mounted or removed using the ergonomic nylon ties that are located in each corner. The background is made from a rugged polyester fabric that is manufactured under strict dye-lot controls. It is also spot washable using a mild soap (do not put it in the washing machine).

Screens have already been supplied to leading rental houses, major Hollywood productions such as the effects driven feature Iron Man. Krakow, Poland's DigiCinema is covering their entire studio with digital screen material.

The material is a bright and vibrant color making it perfect for all sorts of backgrounds - portrait, product and general commercial photography.

This is one of the best green screen backgrounds I've ever worked with - so I bought one. Has two seams in it but they are so smooth it doesn't matter. 12x12 gives me the room to shoot back at nine feet and include a second camera for interviews.

Great Fabric, but with seams

I switched to this from the Westcott chroma-key backdrop. A big advantage of the Matthews is that it's digital green. It requires much less luminance to properly light and I find it's easier to light evenly, without hotspots on either side. While I still prefer it over the Westcott, there are two giant seams in the fabric. You can see in my attached photo what this looks like (my camera focus was set to about 6 feet in front of the backdrop, so this frame is a bit fuzzy). I'm still able to pull a good key in post, but I'm disappointed these seams aren't mentioned in the description or shown in the product photo.

Yes but how many grommets are on each side? How far are they spread from each other? The (almost useless) product pic implies that there aren't a lot.

The Matthews Solid Digital Green Screen (20 x 20') is pretty much wrinkle free. It is made from Polyester Fabric that is laminated. It should be kept on a roll. And if it does produce wrinkles as it might most use a steamer set very light to get them out.
