Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is NOT balanced DESPITE OF BEING 3 PIN Description doesnt say that, but it has TRS and 3pin XLR in both ends, but it doesnt work if you expect to used as balanced adapter. I fought hours with it then I decided to open it, and, guess what, pin 2 and 3 was solded !!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annoying Pin 2 Hot sleeve ruins flexibility This cable would be just fine, but the placement of an unnecessary Pin 2 Hot sleeve makes this already short cable critically unable to bend properly. If the sleeve had been placed mid-cable, or just a little further down, there would be no issue... but when connecting a shotgun mic to the mic port on my Blackmagic Design camera, the inability to bend means stress is being imposed on the joints inside the XLR connector. This means the cable is sure to eventually fail, at least in my application - and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's a shame, because the cable is just fine otherwise. Using an X-ACTO knife, I've managed to remove the sleeve, but it's a tricky thing to do without damaging the cable. I'd recommend ordering a competitor's 15 cable, instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It just works! Pretty simple solution...unless you don't have one Mini stereo is a common audio interface for many laptops, iphones, ipads, tablets, projectors and other media players. This is a simple, well made adaptor that connects mini stereo out to XLR out. You can use a standard XLR microphone cable to connect to your audio system. Set the XLR to line level, set your volume and you are good to go. Many applications...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What I needed no more and no less I use this product for amateur dj work. It allows me to hook my laptop or mixing board into audio systems at several venues. this XLR adapter is very sturdy and makes a great connection. .... It is very short, which I knew when I bought it. It is exactly what I wanted not a bit more and not a bit less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality item We use this component to connect an iPod to a microphone cable running to a powered speaker. Very handy also for quickly connecting a laptop or tablet to a hotel ballroom sound system. Must-have item for anyone supporting presenters who come up with sudden sound demands that weren't in the work order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cable I bought these as back-up cables and haven't used them uet...but they're affordable and will be more than worth their weight in gold when one of my primary cables goes down and I'm standing in the middle of Northern Michigan without a spare. I'm gonna order 2 more if they offered 1.5 foot cables.
