Pelco SD4N23 Overview

The Pelco Spectra IV IP Network Dome System has all the features of an analog Spectra IV system plus the added benefit of a network connection. The will allow the camera to be viewed and controlled from anywhere in the world over the network. And unlike many IP PTZ camera's, this camera's network connection does not interfere with the ability to monitor and control the camera from an analog source. As such this camera is ideal for those looking to take advantage of the latest in IP technology while keeping their existing analog equipment.

As with all Pelco IP camera systems, this camera is Endura Enabled and can be accessed on the Endura-based network via EnduraStor and EnduraView for efficient image quality and data management. Pelco also designed it so that it can be integrated with third-party recording software, thus ensuring interoperability with today's leading IP CCTV solutions.

As with all Spectra dome systems, this camera is made up of three chief components - a back box, a dome drive, and a lower dome, all available for separate purchase. This will allow a particular part of the camera to be swapped or upgraded without the need to replace the entire system.
